With help of professionals, they grow their own vines to gather the best of Itata Valley on their wines. From centuries ago this zone receives these cellars and gives all its flavours and unmistakable aromas.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 19th century, when Mr. Pedro Pablo Medel Mercado settle on the town of San Nicol\u00e1s, 8 kilometers at the north of Chill\u00e1n, right in the Itata Valley. It was there where he planted his vines on farms \u201cCocharcas\u201d, \u201cEl Chasco\u201d and \u201cSanta Laura\u201d, and built a fermentation cellars, that operated until its dead on 1938. The farm Santa Laura, in hands of his widow gave rise to farm \u201cMillapel\u201d.<br \/>\n &nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Vineyard Santa Berta is property of Err\u00e1zuriz Dom\u00ednguez family. With help of professionals, they grow their own vines to gather the best of Itata Valley on their wines.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn 1997 the Err\u00e1zuriz Dom\u00ednguez family acquired the ownership of the farm, where their vines are ubicated. The hundred-year headquarters gave much hope, and the new technologies were there to order the varieties that were stopped with the pass of the years. There have been discovered expressive Merlots, strong Pinot Noirs, and even perfumed Chardonnay. A brand new start, a huge awaken.<\/p>\n<p>With the years Vineyard Santa Berta has been formed in a source of unique wines, reflections of the Valley in all its splendor and tradition.
